According to research, 70% of industrial and commercial roofs have a static load of less than 15kg per square meter. When the building is below this threshold, structural reinforcement of the steel structure factory building is required, which is not only costly but also seriously affects the production and operation activities of the enterprise.
Membrane roofs are generally based on corrugated metal structure roofs or concrete structure roofs, which are covered with a layer of TPO or PVC waterproof material on the surface to solve waterproofing and aging problems. Installing flexible solar modules on these kind of roofs is the best choice. Currently we do have 2 kinds of installation methods for your reference: 1.drilling hole with TPO waterproof bolts. 2. There is no need to drill holes, just stick the square tube directly on its surface, and then apply silicone glue on the square tube to install the flexible solar modules.
