HG GROUP Showcases Innovative Flexible Solar Modules at Solar & Storage LIVE Philippines 2024

May 20-21, 2024, HG GROUP, a leading developer, manufacturer, and seller of lightweight and flexible solar modules, participated in the Solar & Storage LIVE Philippines 2024 exhibition. Located at booth 2-C01, prominently positioned on the left side of the second-floor entrance, HG GROUP proudly presented its high-efficiency HG-L Flexible series modules, showcasing the cutting-edge technology and the company's exceptional global brand influence.

The Philippines, an archipelago nation with abundant solar energy resources due to its year-round sunshine, presents significant market opportunities for the photovoltaic industry. According to the Department of Energy (DOE) of the Philippines, at least 3.9GW of power projects are expected to be operational this year through a mix of renewable and traditional energy sources, with 2GW coming from solar projects. This renewable energy initiative and the country's rich solar resources offer immense prospects for the photovoltaic sector.

As the largest energy conference and exhibition in the Philippines, Solar & Storage LIVE Philippines gathered government representatives, power generation and distribution companies, project developers, investors, and solution providers, providing a valuable platform for discovering business opportunities and fostering connections within the industry.

HG GROUP's HG-L flexible series modules emerged as the highlight of the exhibition. These modules are specifically designed for commercial and industrial rooftops with insufficient load-bearing capacity and curved roofs. The HG-L series boasts a remarkable bending radius of up to 0.3 meter while ensuring no micro-cracks in the cells. Additionally, the modules weigh less than 4kg per square meter, making them suitable for various roofs that cannot support conventional glass modules.

At the exhibition, HG GROUP also showcased various installation methods and scenarios, including vertical installations for photovoltaic curtain walls, different types of corrugated metal roofs, campervan vehicles, and golf carts. The versatility and adaptability of HG GROUP flexible solar modules attracted significant attention, with a steady stream of visitors to the booth, highlighting the novelty and appeal of these products in the Philippine market.
